Solais was founded by Nicola, who has spent ten years building legal technology. She trained in law in London and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2016. She is an unregistered barrister and does not practise law. Early in her career she worked in criminal defence, where she saw how many people’s stories were lost before they ever reached a lawyer.
