Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 18, 2026

Using the Solais app? If you use the Solais app at app.solaisglobal.com, the App Privacy Policy applies to the information you give us there.

Cookies on this website: solaisglobal.com uses cookies that are needed for the site to work. Optional cookies, such as analytics, are only used if you agree through our cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time.

The short version

  • Solais helps you organize what happened and, if you choose, share it with a law firm.
  • Nothing goes to a law firm until you review your summary and approve sharing with that specific firm.
  • We do not sell your information and we do not use it for advertising.
  • You can delete your account and your information at any time.
  • Solais is not a law firm. We do not give legal advice, and using Solais does not create an attorney-client relationship.

Who we are

Solais Global (“Solais”, “we”) is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. You can reach us at info@solaisglobal.com.

What we collect

When you use the Solais app

  • Your email address, so you can sign in with a private link
  • A record that you read and accepted our consent notice, and which version
  • The answers you type, and the summary we prepare from them, including any edits you make
  • The contact details you choose to give when you send your summary (your name, and optionally a phone number and the best time to reach you)
  • Whether a law firm accepted, declined, or asked for more information about your matter
  • A log of who opened or changed a matter and when. The log does not contain what you wrote.

When you use our website

  • Anything you send us through a form, such as a message or a law firm’s request to join, including names, emails and phone numbers
  • Basic technical data that our hosting providers record automatically, such as your IP address and browser type
  • Our website loads fonts from Google, which means your browser contacts Google when a page loads
  • Our website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. WordPress may set cookies that are needed for the site to work, such as when our own staff sign in.

What we ask you not to share. Please do not enter Social Security numbers, payment card or bank numbers, or passwords. We do not need them.

How we use it

  • To run the service: sign you in, save your answers, ask follow-up questions, and prepare your summary
  • To find a suitable law firm for your matter, after you choose to send it
  • To share your matter with a law firm, only after you approve that firm
  • To answer your messages and requests
  • To keep Solais secure and to meet legal obligations

Who can see your information

  1. You. Always.
  2. Solais. Our team can read a matter after you choose to send it, so that we can find a suitable law firm. We will not read your unsent drafts except where needed to keep the service working or secure, or where the law requires it.
  3. One law firm, only with your yes. Before any firm can see your matter, we show you the firm’s name and ask for your approval. If you say no, the firm sees nothing. If you say yes, the firm receives your summary, your answers, and the contact details you gave us. Law firms are independent from Solais and have their own legal and ethical duties.
  4. Service providers who help us run Solais, under terms that limit how they may use your information:
    • Supabase, for our database and sign-in
    • Vercel, which hosts the Solais app
    • Anthropic, for the AI features described below
    • Resend, which sends our sign-in emails
    • GoDaddy, which hosts our main website
  5. Anyone the law requires. We may disclose information if a valid legal process requires it, or to protect someone’s safety.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising. Participating law firms pay Solais a subscription to use its software. You are never obliged to accept a firm we suggest, and you are free to hire any lawyer you choose.

No attorney-client relationship

Solais is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. Nothing on Solais, including the questions we ask, the AI suggestions and your summary, is legal advice.

Using Solais, or sending your summary to Solais or to a law firm, does not create an attorney-client relationship with Solais or with any law firm. That relationship begins only if a firm agrees to represent you, usually in a written engagement agreement. A firm may decide not to take your matter.

Until a firm agrees to represent you, you should not assume that what you share through Solais is protected by attorney-client privilege. Some laws protect information given to a lawyer you are considering hiring, but how those protections apply when information passes through a service like Solais can vary. Share what you need to explain your situation, and save very sensitive details for when you speak with a lawyer directly.

How we use AI

To ask follow-up questions and prepare your summary, we send what you type to Anthropic’s AI service.

  • Under the terms we use with Anthropic, Anthropic may not train its AI models on what we send.
  • By default Anthropic deletes those inputs and outputs from its systems within 30 days. There are limited exceptions, such as when the law requires longer retention or when content is flagged for violating Anthropic’s usage policy.
  • AI can be wrong. It may miss details or misstate them. That is why you review and can edit your summary before anything is shared.
  • AI does not decide whether you have a legal claim, and neither do we. A lawyer makes that judgment.

How long we keep it

  • Unsent drafts: deleted after 90 days without activity
  • Matters you sent: kept for 2 years after they were sent
  • Account and email address: until you delete your account, or after 2 years without activity
  • Activity log (no story text): 2 years
  • Backups: copies in our backups can remain for up to 30 days after you delete your information
  • We may keep information longer where the law requires it

A law firm that has received your matter may keep its own copy under its own legal duties, and deleting your Solais account will not delete the firm’s copy.

Your choices

  • Delete your information. Use the delete button inside the app, or email us. It removes your account, your answers and your summaries from our live systems.
  • Ask what we hold, or ask us to correct it. Email info@solaisglobal.com.
  • Stop before sharing. Nothing is shared with a law firm unless you approve it. You can leave a draft unsent at any time.
  • Marketing email. We do not send marketing email to people who use the app.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights. We will honor requests that are reasonable and permitted by law, whatever your location.

How we protect it

We use encrypted connections, our providers encrypt stored data, and our database is set up so that each person can only see their own information and each law firm can only see matters that the client approved for it. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you as the law requires.

Emergencies and deadlines

Solais cannot respond to emergencies. If you are in danger, call 911 or your local emergency number. Legal claims can have strict deadlines, so do not wait for Solais if time is short.

Children

Solais is for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger.

Where your information is processed

Solais serves people in the United States. Solais is based in the United States, and our providers may process information in the United States.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell people who use the app. The version you agreed to is recorded when you accept the consent notice.
